It seems like such a long time since we've been able to enjoy some fun at the beach due to lockdown laws and restrictions on movement. I think about all those times I took for granted the ability to move about as I pleased, go where I wanted to and when. These days those most basic of privileges seem far away.
I think we'll get through this though and come out better at the other end and the longing, and wait, for days like this will make them more valued when they do arrive.
I'll certainly be making more of an effort to be thankful for and appreciative of the simple pleasures I get to experience.
