It was a blustery, blizzardy day.  We were going to do a road trip to Lussier Hot Springs.  It didn't happen.  The roads were getting rather treacherous and the last 20 km of the road to Lussier is a rough dirt logging road that climbs a cliff.  It is a dangerous road in good conditions.

So, we hung around the cottage.  We had an awesome lunch.  We went back to the hot springs we were at yesterday... but we took our hosts with us.  They loved it.  Surprisingly enough, other people came up this time.  We were glad we planned to go for a dip this time and had swim suits and towels and all of that good stuff.  It could have been awkward.  In Canada, it is not 'normal' to jump into the pool naked.

We were all wiped after this.  The grey snowy weather combined with a few hours in a hot spring really did a number on us.  We ended up in the pub.  We had nachos, pizza and the others indulged in a few pitchers.  The 4 year old in the party slept on the pub bench for the whole time we were there.  She was a burning hot lightning bolt for a few days and it caught up to her, so the adults had a good visit and some grown up time.

We watched a movie and went to bed.  It was pretty chill all in all, no fabulous stories, no glorious tales or mythical creature sightings.  I was so wiped, in fact, that I am writing this blog in the morning instead of last night.

We are packing up the cabin and are getting set to check out this morning before 10.  I have been eating a lot to help "clean".  We were going to through Calgary and spend the night somewhere today, but we are thinking of just driving home in one shot today.  We miss our cat, plus is is my birthday tomorrow, and it would be nice to be home.

I will let you know ho it goes when I know.  Until then... woooo!
