If I do really well and am able to, I am going to design my own house without a furnace in it... because burning gas to create heat is really inefficient. Instead, I will make a room that will contain miners. I will hook a thermostat up in the house that will either vent the miners outside, or inside to heat my house.

My heat bill will likely be the same as (or slightly more) as it is now (burning gas for nothing but heat) and I will get most of that money back in bitcoin (or my chosen currency).

It is hard to conceptualize paradigm shifts while viewing it through the old paradigm. We will overcome the "bad for the environment" argument by continually building the new paradigm.
