Your points are valid and we have all had this same conversation a bunch of times... I like your idea about modifying how trending is set. Perhaps let the whales decide, and let the masses also have a hand in it as well. I'm not sure how to implement it, but it could help.

LeoFinance's front end is cool as @leo.voter I think, decides which posts get the "featured" spot on the page. We might be able to find a way to do that on POB.
