There have been a lot of posts in the last few days about top stakeholders and about who has the power!
Exciting times!
These posts have come out in the last few days. There is a lot of excitement on POB and the young growing platform. There is obviously a race to the top in the works too. Everyone wants a piece of this rare, and likely still undervalued (there, I said it) token. With only 21,000,000 ever to be printed, and with the power to decide who will receive future mintings, POB-Power is a really hot commodity.

At the time of writing, nearly 89% or all POB tokens are staked. 11% is not staked!
I got some more info for you on this front...
To buy around 32 POB tokens, the price will jump from 1.18 Hive to nearly 1.3 Hive! To get 32!!! This is some slow growth sloggin' on Hive-Engine. The buy orders are at around 0.8 Hive, but let me tell you something. I have looked at the POB market and have put in buy orders. They have all gotten buried. I don't think they will ever get filled. I don't think the buy orders at 0.8 Hive will get filled (sorry!).
Whaling up!
To get your whale on is going to be a challenge. I find myself somewhere on that top 50 list (and I am grateful for that), but being top 50 does not a whale make. For anybody trying to grow their stake through the market... it is looking pretty scarce.
One of my goals for POB was to become a POB Whale! Lofty, I know. It didn't seem so lofty 3 weeks ago when the token was much much cheaper and I set buy orders for slightly less than that. All of those buy orders have been buried and the token has skyrocketed. It now seems to be a real challenge to get my whale on.
My main goal on POB was to create good content and to become a valuable member of the community and to ultimately establish myself as a cornerstone. That is just going to take some hard work and integrity. I can do those things.
The ship may be sailing away on the potential for me to be POB whale, but opportunity may knock yet. My other goal is very attainable and I feel like I am somewhere on my journey of being a valued member of the POB community.

I care about the race to the top. I think that it is exciting and I love how everyone is pumped up to get as much POB-Power as they can. I know, for myself, that I can only do so much on this platform, and ultimately, at least for now, my POB-power will come from writing. I love watching the race... and I am not watching from the sidelines, I am somewhere back there. My main goal is to see POB grow so whomever is at the top, has a lot of responsibility to keep this ship moving in the right direction. I will continue to write and try my part in steering this ship in the right direction.
