If you want to take your Splinterlands gaming experience to the next level, chaos legion cards can be the perfect way to dominate the battlefield.
Even though, the average win rate of Thaddius Brood is 50% they are satisfying to watch from a safe distance.
Wishing you all a good day.
Today I battle for the first time after making an account and buying some cards from the market. This time, I chose the chaos legion.
I bought a Level 4 Thaddius Brood Summoner card and a level 4 Cursed Windeku card. I just like the Windeku card because of its abilities but you guys can buy other more amazing ones from the market.
Below are the major events in the battle and at the end of the post is the battle link.
Battle
The mana cap was 24. It was a classic Thaddius Brood v Tarsa. But, I had level 2 cards. The level of the cards is capped due to their respective tiers. Once we rise above the bronze and silver tiers and your cards can show their true potential.
My Team
The tank was the unmistakable Cursed Windeku, ready with his thorns as a counter. In second place is the Disintegrator. Third in line was the everlasting Riftwing, the scavenger. Shielded by the Riftwing was the Life Sapper. The placement of Sha-vi depended on the mana cap, hence it is in the 5th position. Lastly, the Dhampir Stalker with its high long-range damage.
Opponent Team
In the first place, the Living Lava. Second in command was a Scavo Chemist that healed the card with the lowest health. Then the Radiated Scorcher. 4th place was the deadly Serpentine Spy, then the Tenyii Striker. And lastly, the Spark Pixies.
Reason:
- Windeku is leveled up a bit and can handle a beating. Combine it with the effect of thorns on the hitters as a counter and we've got a deadly Tank.
- Sole purpose of the Disintegrator was to reduce the Melee damage of the opposing cards.
- The Riftwing was a mere time killer for the real hunters behind. As the rounds would progress the Riftwing's health would reach sky-high.
- No special reason for Sha-vi.
- The Dhampir Stalker was a must in my deck. It does 3 damage from the back of the deck, doing THE MOST single hit damage on my deck.
Round 1 - Amalgamate
Not the best use of the traits from the chaos faction. They retained their HP with no reduced magic damage as they didn't have any magic users.
The Living lava didn't crack much, but one of the most significant events in the battle. Sha-vi takes out the Spark Pixies, the card with the highest points per battle in its first hit too.
The Life Sapper refused to die as it continued to sap away the HP of the Living Lava. The extra HP was balanced out by the Serpentine Spy.
The end of the First round ended with the Disintegrator's charge on the Living Lava.
Round 2 - Fishing Out The Weak
Many of the opponents fell in the first few give-and-takes between the monsters. The Living Lava lived no longer and its minion fell moments later.
The Serpentine Spy was the next to fall. Just as anticipated, a long battle blew up the HP of the Riftwing through the roof.
Round 3 - Flex
Without losing any of my cards, the entire Tarsa fell. The Windeku delivered the final blow.
I do realize that with better and greater cards we can land an even more amazing victory.
as for the next card I have in mind, I'll go for the Life Sapper or buy something from the Tarsa faction. The win rate of the Obsidian faction is the highest in the entire game, 0.80 to be exact according to kalkulus, a fellow user on the Hive blockchain.
