Hey Splinter-people. I hope you are doing good as today's battle is another for the book of records!
The big reason for this episode to be unique is because this is another 99 mana battle! This time it wasn't an anticipated opponent, rather this time it was an "all-in" from both sides.
Todays's battle highlights the moments between two Tarsa factions. Both of us used different units to play with. Quite an unfortunate one for the opponent if you ask me. Why you may ask? Find out below, the scenes between the rounds.
At the end of the post remains the battle, where both parties went all out.
The opponent had a Living Lava as the tank whereas I placed mine in the second position, a Radiated Brute as his second monster, the ninja(Tenyii Striker) in third, and the last three cards were most likely rented or bought because they cannot be found at me Items section. The evil-looking kid looked formidable, with an attack of 2 and 4 HP it stood like a menace. The toothy worm was a beast, his card. 5 Hp with an attack power of 5. The serpent that he put, in the end, was useless IMO. he should've put a raged one with more HP as this was a 99 mana cap battle. That cost him dearly in the end.
I had my trusty Disintegrator as my tank. In the third place, I placed the Fire Elemental because she has a blast radius with a stretch that damages the monsters besides the attacked card. So, with one attack the monsters around the targetted monster suffer damage of -1 HP. Behind my tank, I placed the ninja, then the Goblin Chariot. The goblin chariot is more of an insurance card, I had to have some monsters with a higher attacking attacking rate and also that which deals damage from the back too. This one had a 3 on its back hence it had a higher chance of dodging attacks from low-attacking cards. But, the only drawback to this strategy was the health of the Goblin Chariot. I took a huge risk by taking this because if the opponent had chosen the Thaddiues Brood faction my cards were as good as the green leaf you put on top of macaroni.
Lastly, I put the Djinn apprentice, this card won me over with its fireball damage amount.
Both the factions used their traits, +1 HP and Attack power. But, my Disintegrator made their +1 attack power useless. Now that I think about it, I believe that the Disintegrator should always be put in the last. Its ability is too great to let it be the tank.
3 of my cards were melee attackers, the rest were ranged. He had 5 melee attackers and thus more threats looming over the horizon.
The First to strike was the mean-looking kid in the 4th place, to my ninja. The Fire Elemental threw an axe toward the Living lava, it connected and the Radiated brute suffered damage of -1. My Goblin chariot finished off the Lava's defense, my Djinn went right for the HP of the Lava. The serpent and Ninja exchanged attacks, the serpent now had a +3 HP thanks to the faction trait, only its armor wore off.
A few more hit exchanges between the frontline monsters and my tank and ninja, and concluded the epic first round.
The Evil child finishes off my ninja. The Fire Elemental does her work wondrously. That's twice she blasted the Radiated Brute The Goblin Chariot and Djinn finishes off their tank. The Serpent goes for the last card, in this case, it was the Goblin Chariot.
The Radiated Brute comes in for its final attack, it's HP was at 1.
A huge wham by the toothy worm and my Goblin Chariot went bye-bye.
It's now a 4 v 5 situation. And it's not that good looking out there. That worm is a death sentence, each time it moves it makes sure that the target is down and out.
The Djinn Apprentice and Fire Elemental took out the Radiated Brute, the enemy ninja suffers a -1 HP blast damage.
My Disintegrator is finally down and out, and Tenyii Striker delivered the final blow. The Djinn Apprentice scratched Striker, it now had a +4 HP. The Living Lava, with its high melee damage, finished off Tenyii Striker. And with the Disintegrator gone, their melee buff reaches its peak.
It was now a 3 v 3. The toothy worm now had a 6 melee attack damage, it hits the Djinn apprentice.
Now, it becomes a 3 v 2. An even more dire situation this had grown into, I was locked in with a beast!
The Fire Elemental hits the first monster and its radius' effect takes place. The Serpent totally misses the Fire Elemental thanks to the increased attacking ability.
My Living Lava was still untouched even in this late in the game, it had it's defence of +2. Thanks to its heavy damage that evil-looking child was out of the equation.
It was now a 2 v 2.
The Fire Elemental hits the worm and the Serpent takes a hit from it.
The Living Lava finishes off the beast that I was worried about all along. From here on, you know what happens... have a sweet.
With the Serpent remaining, it was easy to bully it.
Since there were no other cards to blast with firepower, the Fire Elemental takes out the Serpent with one fell swoop.
