~ En el mundo actual estamos tan sumergidos en la tecnología, que de cierta forma esto involucra también de manera directa a los más pequeños de la casa, puesto que quizá nos haya pasado a muchos de los que hacemos vida aquí en esta comunidad, que en algún momento de ocupación hemos prestado algún aparato de estos a nuestros hijos, ya sea un teléfono, una tableta, etc, mientras terminamos dicha ocupación o actividad y podemos volver a dedicar el tiempo completo.
Las preguntas que me hago a todo esto:
¿Estamos haciendo mal?
¿Estamos pendientes de lo que nuestros hijos están visualizando?
¿Aporta algo de aprendizaje para ellos?

In today's world we are so immersed in technology, that in some way this also directly involves the smallest of the house, since perhaps it has happened to many of us who make life here in this community, that at some point of occupation we have lent some of these devices to our children, whether a phone, a tablet, etc., while we finish that occupation or activity and we can return to devote full time.
The questions I ask myself to all of this:
Are we doing it wrong?
Are we paying attention to what our children are visualizing?
Does it provide any learning for them?
Bien, de que estemos haciendo las cosas mal, no lo creo. Pero lo que sí sé, es que debemos ser conscientes y responsables para supervisar y estar al pendiente de lo que los pequeños están viendo a través de esa pantalla. Puesto que para nadie es un secreto que así como existe contenido de calidad y educativo, también está el otro lado o la cara de la moneda, y es que hoy en día existe un sinfín de contenido no apto para menores, que no aporta algún conocimiento de valor y creo que alli es donde los padres debemos mantener nuestro enfoque, en supervisar que todo lo que visualice sea acorde a su edad y a la formación que estamos dando.

Since it is no secret that just as there is quality and educational content, there is also the other side or the other side of the coin, and today there is an endless amount of content that is not suitable for minors, that does not provide any valuable knowledge and I think that is where parents should keep our focus, in supervising that everything they see is in accordance with their age and the training we are giving them.
Mencionando lo anterior, creo que una de las mejores formas para saber que es lo que nuestros hijos están viendo es aparte de no darle el equipo tecnológico todo el día, es esta App de Youtube Kids puesto que para crear una cuenta es el padre quien la crea, con la edad acorde a tu hijo y ofrece contenido apropiado a su edad, tienes acceso a bloquear todo aquello que creas inapropiado y si tienes más de un hijo puedes crear una cuenta a cada uno pues como dije puede ser acorde a su edad. A decir verdad me parece una versión muy útil de Youtube, esto no es publicidad, pero creo que para muchos padres les pueda ser útil.
~ Mentioning the above, I think one of the best ways to know what our children are watching is apart from not giving them the technological equipment all day, is this Youtube Kids App since to create an account is the parent who creates it, with the age according to your child and offers content appropriate to their age, you have access to block everything you think is inappropriate and if you have more than one child you can create an account for each one because as I said it can be according to their age. To tell the truth I find it a very useful version of Youtube, this is not advertising, but I think that for many parents it can be useful.
~ En cuanto a su aprendizaje, también somos los padres los responsables de esto, puesto que tambien existe un sinfín de juegos o apps que son educativas, y que podemos descargarle sin ninguna preocupación en nuestros celulares. En mi caso hemos tenido varias apps, entre ellas Mi talking Tom puesto que aparte de que se puede jugar, puede llegar hasta ser entretenido para nosotros como padres y les enseña cosas básicas de tener una mascota, como él hecho que tiene que alimentar, asear y dormir. Me parece una buena app.
~ Otra app que me parece buenísima Piano Kids puesto que cuenta con una gran variedad de juegos, le enseña sonidos, puede dibujar, conocer las letras etc, allí puedes estar consiente que puede adquirir conocimientos mientras juega.

In my case we have had several apps, among them My Talking Tom because apart from the fact that you can play, it can even be entertaining for us as parents and it teaches them basic things about having a pet, such as the fact that they have to feed, groom and sleep. I think it is a good app.
~ Another app that I think is very good Piano Kids because it has a variety of games, teaches sounds, can draw, know the letters etc, there you can be aware that you can acquire knowledge while playing.
Como estás puede haber muchas más, solo mencione estas que de verdad me parecen de buen interés. Hace bastante tiempo ya que venía con la idea de darle forma a este post. Nuestros hijos son lo más importante, y son el futuro, como padres debemos ser responsables y estar al pendientes de su formación.
