¿Estaremos dispuestos a perdonar y olvidar?
Why apologize?
Who has not ever thought that, as we say in Creole terms, "we screw up" and then we don't know how to get it out of the hole.
This happens many times and omitting a simple word, "excuse me," can be the source of breakups and hurt feelings.
The truth is that we all need some time to be excused because, as a certain popular saying says "the one who is free of sin, cast the first stone" and we feel very good when they forgive us and not only that, they also do not take time again. again the error.
But will we be willing to apologize? This requires a lot of humility from us, to admit that we were wrong, but what is worth more, our pride or the relationship we have with that person? It is worth meditating on it, although perhaps the other person is waiting for that gesture from us to heal the wounds.
But what if we are the offended? Will we be willing to forgive and forget?
Remembering that we too are wrong will be the first step in not demanding too much from the other person, when we also have to admit that we need to be excused sometime.
Now, after they have not forgiven, the other person will wait for us to do our best not to repeat the mistake and this will make us grow as a person and the relationship will strengthen.
So let's not hesitate to apologize and forgive, as this will make us happier, and our relationships will last longer. If we do not do it, we may hold resentment towards the other person, this will only steal our joy and we do not want this to happen, so What prevents you from forgiving?
