Greetings, community!

Today, we write from a human place.

From Aliento, we want to dedicate these lines to someone who has been a fundamental part of the Hive ecosystem and who, without seeking the spotlight, has planted opportunities, supported projects, and believed in many when they needed it most. We are talking about @theycallmedan.

Last year, Dan went through a very delicate health situation that led to an emergency surgery. Here you can read more about it.

It was a hard blow, one of those that reminds us that behind every account there is a real person, with family, fears, and hope. Today, once again, he is preparing to enter the operating room—this time with the goal of improving his quality of life and strengthening his health.

Dan has been one of those whales who not only support with resources, but also with presence, trust, and vision. Many creators, projects, and communities (including Aliento) have felt that support, directly or indirectly.

In Web3, we often talk about decentralization, financial freedom, content creation, and digital communities. But there is something even more powerful than all of that: the human connection that is formed when we walk together.

Today, we want to pause for a moment and remember something important:

We are a blockchain, yes. But we are also people.

And when one of us goes through a moment like this, the community walks alongside them.

That’s why we want to make an open call to the entire Hive community:

Leave a few words of encouragement in the comments for @theycallmedan.

A short message, a positive wish, a prayer, or a reflection. Everything adds up.

The idea is that, when Dan recovers, he can read this thread filled with beautiful energy, reminding him that he does not walk alone in this ecosystem and that behind every account there are hearts beating at the same rhythm.

From Aliento as a project, we send him our best wishes and the encouragement he needs for a speedy recovery.
