Rapai, is a traditional musical instrument from Aceh that has existed since hundreds of years ago, this instrument was introduced by "Sheikh Abdul Kadir". Rapai is a musical instrument that enters the* Frame Drume Family*, played by being beaten by hand or stick.
RAPAI is often used in traditional ceremonies in Aceh such as marriage ceremonies, circumcision apostles, night markets, dances, anniversaries, birthdays and so on, and is an integral part of the life of the people of Aceh either philosophically or culturally.
Until now, Rapai still has strong ties with the people of Aceh, there is no age difference in playing this instrument, and when the sound of rapai sounded then we will be carried away in a passionate spirit.
