Whenever a restriction is seen in any rule set it makes the battle more interesting because you have to select your monsters while keeping that restriction in mind and you get to see a great twist and interest in the battle.
It is important to see and know what kind of modifiers have come in your battle rules and how you understand these rule sets and how you make your strategy and plan. This is considered an important section of this game where you understand the rule set properly and implement your strategy according to it.
I think that 50 percent of the win rate is in understanding the rule set correctly and it is possible only after good monster selection. So it is important to understand what rule sets have come in any battle.
Today’s 48th battle was very interesting where we saw three special rule sets. In these two were restrictions and one was an advantage for all units.
Let’s first know these rule sets and then see how we plan our strategy and which monsters we will prefer in this battle.
The first rule set was Armored Up. In this all units whether they are allied or from the enemy side all these units get plus two armor.
All the monsters that have armor according to this rule set get an increase of plus two in their armor.
So keeping this rule set in mind it is necessary to adopt the strategy that you try to select as many armored units as possible. Because of this you will get an additional plus two armor which is a protection against any ranged and melee attacker.
So keeping this rule set in mind I adopted this plan.. I would try to line up all the armored monsters that I have in my deck in this battle.
The second rule set Might Makes Right is a restriction based rule set where you will be allowed to summon only those units whose power is 3 whether they belong to ranged, magic or melee power.
Meaning all units whose power is 3 or more will be allowed to be summoned. If it is less than 3 it will be disabled for you and you cannot add these monster cards to your deck.
Meaning the restriction that came is that monster cards with small powers become useless in this battle.
So keeping this rule set in mind I adopted the strategy of lining up my best monsters with power 3 or more in the battle.
The third rule set is Outsider where you are allowed to summon only one Wild unit and you are not allowed to select more than that.
So this is a restriction based rule set where you are allowed to summon only one Wild unit.
Keeping this rule set in mind it is necessary to adopt the strategy that you try to select your strongest armored monster from the Wild units so that you also get the plus two armor which will be excellent support in the battle.
So keeping these rule sets in mind what was my strategy?
Now because the second rule set had a very strict restriction there are many players whose decks have very few monsters with power 3 or more.
So in battles with such rule sets players often struggle because they have very few monster cards with good power.
That is why it is necessary that your deck should have at least four to five monster cards with power 3 or more because they are very useful in these types of rule sets.
But unfortunately I had only one monster with power 3 and that was called Kicking Roc so I selected only that one.
The good thing is that for survival I had one monster available which I selected.
If I talk about the opponent I had to wait for approximately 13 minutes for this battle because the opponent had no option to select a monster because he was not fulfilling the second rule set.
And because there was no monster selection I got the victory in this battle which I really liked.
I kept waiting for quite a long time because I did not want my win streak to be ruined.
That is why I had to wait in this battle so that the opponent could give his final decision because he had no option for monster selection.
So I got a victory in this battle without any battle fight. In this type of rule sets players often have to face struggles.
That is why we should keep a balanced selection of monster cards in our deck so that we can select monsters according to any rule set.
