Todays 26 mana battle was really excellent and interesting. In this low mana battle I had a little difficulty with monster selection because the rulesets were such that I had to be very careful while selecting the monsters.
It is very important that first of all, in any mana battle you understand the rule sets properly and then by combining them with the mana battle, make a good selection of monsters and position them properly.
Because of this you get 50% of your victory. But if you do not understand the rule sets correctly you can lose the battle because of selecting the wrong monsters.
let us understand what three rule sets came in this 26 mana battle and what favors and restrictions were there.
MANEUVERS
The first one is the Maneuvers rule set. All units, whether they are allied units or enemy units get the Reach ability.
Now, what happens with Reach is that your melee attackers can be placed in the second position and can attack from there. Normally melee attackers can attack only from the first position. But when they get the Reach ability you can place them in the second position and make them attack from there.
So this is a favorable rule set for melee attackers. Your strategy should be to select as many melee attackers as possible so that your first position covers your tank monster and in the secondary position you can keep another secondary tank and continue making it attack and deal damage to the enemy units.
OUTSIDER
The second rule set is Outsider and in this you can summon only one Wild unit. There are some restrictions here that you cannot summon more than one Wild unit.
Keeping this rule set in mind my strategy was that I should try to select the strongest Wild unit which has as much health as possible and is a heavy damage dealer so that I can take full advantage of this rule set.
BRUTE FORCE
The third rule set is called Brute Force and in this, the unit that has the highest power will attack first.
Because of this rule set it is important to adopt a strategy where you try to select your tank monster as the monster with the highest power so that the same tank monster attacks first and continues dealing heavy damage to the enemy units.
So keeping these rule sets in mind my strategy was that my Archon would be the one that reduces the enemy's health by one. This means that at the beginning of the battle the health of all the enemy monsters would be reduced by one.
After that for the front tank monster I selected a monster with high melee attack and good health.
Then in the second position, again I selected a melee attacker that would get the Reach ability and also had high armor and health so that it could continue absorbing damage.
And the monster I selected in the end position was a magic attacker. My plan was that it should survive in the battle for a long time and continue dealing damage.
I selected a magic attacker because I wanted to eliminate the monsters in the front line first. And they could be eliminated if there was a magic attacker that could directly hit their health, so that their armor would become useless.
On the other hand the enemy unit's strategy was that it gave more preference to monsters with armor. It again selected ranged attackers and melee and magic attackers. It did not have any melee attacker. which was totally against the ruleset.
This was going to be a very interesting battle.
From the beginning round, my monsters were very aggressive and because of their continuous attacks one enemy unit was eliminated (TANK MONSTER). In this way, one by one, the enemy units kept getting eliminated.
And I got an excellent victory in this battle.
Because of my proper strategy and planning I got a great victory in this battle.
And this is why we should understand how to use the rule sets properly in any battle and how to select the best monsters.
My favorite monster of today's battle as Spinetail Fiend. Because of its melee attack and health, I got good survivability in this battle for a long time and because of its continuous attacks the enemy's front line monsters were eliminated.
What would your strategy be with such rule sets and which monsters would you give preference to? Will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
