Only Magic Attackers Allowed! — The Battle Finished in Just Round 1
For winning any battle it is not enough to only understand your strategy or the ruleset correctly. It is also very important to have monster cards from different elements in your deck. If your deck has all types of monster cards including magic ranged melee armor and monsters with good health then you will not struggle in any ruleset.
The first requirement is that your deck should have balanced cards so that no matter what type of restrictions you get in any ruleset you can make your plan and strategy accordingly. After selecting the monsters you can enter the battle and can compete with the opponent.
Just like in today's battle where magic monsters were given priority and only magic monsters were allowed to be selected. My deck had quite good cards but when I looked at the enemy unit selection on the battlefield I felt that he had brought magic attackers from his deck. Because of this he faced a heavy defeat.
Before we move toward the battlefield strategy and monster selection it is important to understand which rulesets came with restrictions and made the battle quite confusing.
In this 45 mana battle we saw a very powerful and interesting battle and there was quite a lot of confusion because there were two very difficult rulesets where restrictions were given. Let us understand these rulesets first.
Ruleset 1: WANDS OUT
This is a ruleset where you are only allowed to summon magic attack units. Whatever good magic attackers you have in your deck will be useful in this battle. All melee and ranged attackers will be disabled and you cannot select these cards in this battle.
In this type of ruleset it is very important that you have a good collection of magic attackers so that you can plan and select a strong tank monster support and attackers.
According to this ruleset you should adopt the strategy of having a good lineup of your strongest and best magic cards in your deck and enter the battle with strong positioning.
Ruleset 2: HEALED OUT
According to this ruleset all units whether they are from allied units or enemy units and even Archons will lose all their abilities that restore health. Every ability that restores health such as healer abilities will be disabled according to this ruleset.
This is the second restriction of this ruleset. It means that you cannot get any benefit from a monster card with healing abilities in this battle. So it is better that you do not select your Archon or monster cards that have healing abilities.
According to this ruleset you should adopt the strategy that your main focus should be on selecting your tank monster and good magic cards.
I PLANNED AGGRESIVE STRATEGY
After understanding these two rulesets let us see what strategy I adopted and which monsters I preferred.
First I selected my Archon with the minus 1 health ability. This means that at the start of the battle the health of all the monsters in the enemy unit will be reduced by 1. This plays a very important role in weakening the enemy lineup and making the allied unit stronger.
After that I selected this high health tank monster for the frontline which also had a magic attack and melee attack. It was a dual attacker but because only magic attacks could be used its melee power was useless.
Similarly in the second position and from the second position to the last position I selected my strongest and best magic attackers and positioned them accordingly.
But still I was lacking magic attackers in my deck and because of this two of my slots remained empty.
ENEMY LINEUP WAS TOO MUCH WEAK
When I looked at the enemy unit lineup on the battlefield I became satisfied and understood that this was a one-sided battle and I was going to get a great victory in this battle. He only had two monsters that were not very strong strikers and his enemy team also did not have any good tank monster to defend them.
The battle ended in Round 1 itself. Because I had heavy strikers as soon as Round 1 started the first monster of the enemy unit was eliminated and then the second monster was eliminated.
In this way I got a one sided victory which was very amazing and excellent.
In this battle I would call my favorite monster my tank monster because its high health helped me get the victory in the battle.
What would your strategy be in this type of ruleset? Which monsters would you prefer? will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
