Todays 46 mana battle was very interesting and I got the opportunity to play this battle with three challenging rulesets. I got a great victory in just two rounds. The game finished very quickly because my monster selection and positioning worked perfectly on the battlefield.

In the ruleset where there are restrictions you have to pick monsters very carefully. They need to work well with all three rulesets at the same time to make a strong combination.

In any high mana battle with multiple restrictions it is important to first understand every ruleset properly and then select your monsters accordingly. If you do this your chances of winning become much higher.

When there are effects like poison and mana restrictions every single card choice matters a lot. One wrong move can cost you the whole battle. That is why players need to be extra careful when selecting their team.

Todays battle was a great example of how taking time to analyze the rulesets before picking cards can lead to a quick and smooth victory on the battlefield. You can check how the battle finished in just 2 round and I got a great victory..

Before moving to the battle breakdown and my strategy first let's understand the rulesets. We will also look at what these rulesets do and what strategy and monster combination I made according to them.

RULESET 1: HEALED OUT

This is a ruleset where units and Archons lose all abilities that restore health. What does the Healed Out ruleset do? It stops both players from using healing abilities.

This includes tank heal and self healing abilities. Because of this health restoration is completely disabled. Any damage taken by cards stays throughout the battle.

According to this ruleset it is better to use a strategy that focuses on high health and strong attacks instead of depending on healing abilities.

RULESET 2: NOXIOUS FUMES

This is a ruleset where all units start the battle poisoned. What does the Noxious Fumes ruleset do? It applies poison damage to every card at the end of each round. Because of this every monster loses health over time.

This makes it much harder for low health cards to survive. According to this ruleset it is better to use monsters with high health or good speed. They need to survive long enough to defeat the enemy before the poison takes them down.

RULESET 3: EVEN STEVENS

This is a ruleset where you can only summon units with even mana costs. What does the Even Stevens ruleset do?

It removes all odd mana units from the battle. Both players can only select cards that cost even mana . Because of this odd mana monsters cannot be used in this battle.

According to this ruleset it is important to select the most useful even mana monsters and use the 46 mana limit properly.

MY STRATEGY AND MONSTER SELECTION

Keeping these three rulesets in mind what strategy did I use and which monsters did I select? I knew that under Noxious Fumes and Healed Out I needed monsters with good health and strong attacks. I needed to defeat the opponent quickly before the poison could take down my team.

First of all I selected my Archon Marlai Singariel. She boosts the magic abilities of my allied monsters at the start of the battle.

In the first position I selected New Beluroc Aegis. This is a strong tank with good health and armor. It is able to absorb strong physical attacks from the enemy.

In the second position I placed Lunaki Howler. behind my main tank gave my front line extra support. It could deal damage while helping my team survive the early rounds.

In the third position I selected strong armored strike monster that keeps on attacking every round and deals heavy damage.

From mid to last position I placed mix combination of range and magic attackers. This will be to continuosuly attack on enemy units every round and deal them heavy damage.

ON THE BATTLEFIELD

When I looked at the enemy lineup it was also quite interesting. They had selected a similar front line with New Beluroc Aegis followed by several other monsters. However my speed and backline combination gave me a good setup for the battle.

The battle started with attacks coming from both sides while poison damage was affecting every unit on the battlefield.

In Round 1 both sides made strong attacks. My tank monster dealt good damage to the enemy front line. The enemy tried to respond with their own attacks but my front line remained strong.

In Round 2 my team took complete control of the battle. The enemy front tank could not survive the combined attacks from my team and the poison damage.

It fell quickly and left the rest of the enemy team exposed. Once their tank was gone my team focused all their attacks on the remaining monsters.

At the end of Round 2 I got a very good victory. 50% of the battle was ended because of the noxious fumes ruleset which eliminated major of the monsters.

The main reason for this result was my strong monster selection and the good combination I created. My team destroyed the enemy team in just two rounds. The team worked perfectly and did not give the opponent any chance to recover.

What would your strategy be in this type of ruleset? Which monsters would you prefer to use? will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
