In some high mana battles you are only allowd to select few cards because of the rule sets you get limitations in monster selection. Just like what happened in today’s battle. In this high mana battle I was only allowed to select four monsters and the opponent was also allowed to select four. This means there are some rule sets that convert a high mana battle into a low mana battle and affect your strategy and sense.

Todays 56 mana battle was very interesting and confusing because there were restrictions in all three rule sets. This means there were many disadvantages for you and you were not given flexibility for monster selection. But still I selected and positioned my best monsters and in this battle I got a very good victory.

But one thing I definitely want to say is that the enemys lineup was also very strong. Until the second-last round it was not clear which team was stronger in this battle. But in the final rounds it became clear that I was winning this battle.

Before I move toward the battle and tell you my strategy it is important to understand which three rule sets came in this battle that created restrictions and caused a lot of confusion for monster selection. Let’s first understand these rule sets and what strategy I adopted according to them.

Rule Set 1: ELITE FORCE

According to this rule set you will not be allowed to summon Common units. All the Common cards in your deck will be disabled on the selection screen and you cannot choose them for your team.

You will only be allowed to summon Rare Epic and Legendary cards. Of course every deck has different types of cards so this is not a very special restriction and there was not much struggle here.

Even with this I had seven to eight of my best monster cards available for selection.

Rule Set 2: UNPROTECTED

This is a rule set where the armor of all units whether they belong to the enemy or allied unit will become zero and they will not gain armor from any Archon or any ability.

There are some monster cards that have abilities that increase armor but according to this rule set no Archon or ability can give any kind of armor gain.

All the power related to armor on monsters will become zero.

So according to this strategy you should focus on monsters with armor less and it is better to give preference to monsters with high health.

Try to select monsters with high health and high strike in your deck so that you can survive well in this rule set.

Rule Set 3: FOUR'S A CROWD

This is also a special type of restriction where you cannot summon more than four units.

Although the mana capacity is high for monster selection according to this rule set you will only be allowed to summon four units.

So according to this rule set what strategy should you adopt?

You should try to choose four monster cards in your deck that have very good health speed and strike. And if they have extra abilities select them and position them correctly so that you can get a win in the battle.

I PLANNED FOR AGGRESIVE STRATEGY

After understanding these rule sets what was my strategy and which monsters did I give preference to?

First of all I selected my Archon with the monster ability of +1 Health.

What this will do is that all my units will get +1 Health increased at the start of the battle. And this is very good according to the Unprotected rule set where there is no armor so health will continue to be very useful.

For my front line monster I selected a mixed combination monster of Melee and Magic which had good health power. Another advantage of this monster is that when placed in the first position it will continue to perform double strikes with both Melee and Magic.

In the second position I selected a high health Magic attacker.

The advantage of this will be that if my front-line monster is destroyed then the monster in the second position because it has high health will continue to perform Magic attacks and weaken the enemy lineup.

Similarly in the third and fourth positions again I selected high health heavy strikers.

That means I selected the strongest cards from my deck and positioned them according to the rule sets.

ON THE BATTLEFIELD

When I saw my units and the enemy units on the battlefield there was a lot of confusion.

The enemy opponent selected monsters with Magic abilities and all of his units were Magic strikers.

Although this was his biggest mistake because the armor was already zero there was no benefit to selecting Magic monsters.

There was no benefit to selecting Magic Archon monsters.

This was a battle where monsters kept getting eliminated in every round because heavy strikes were being seen from both sides.

In Round 1 there was a good fight with heavy strikes from both sides.

As soon as Round 2 came the enemy’s first monster was eliminated.

Similarly in Round 3 one of my monsters was eliminated and again one of the enemy’s monsters was eliminated. At this stage the fight became 2 versus 3.

In Round 4 my team had the advantage because another enemy unit was eliminated. In this way the enemy opponent had one unit remaining while I had three monsters alive.

But in Round 5 the enemy opponent made a comeback and the battle became 1 versus 2 where I had two monsters and the enemy had one monster surviving.

But in Round 6 because I had two heavy strikers and monsters with good health the opponent’s last unit also could not survive.

At the end of Round 6 I got a very great victory.

And this is the biggest reason why after understanding the rule sets correctly I planned my proper strategy and selected the right monsters which made this victory possible.

What would your strategy be in this type of rule set and which monsters would you give preference to? will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
