Low mana battles are often struggling because due to the low mana cost you have less opportunity for the selection of monsters and a kind of confusion is created about which monsters you should select how you should select them and how you should merge them with the ruleset and what their better positioning could be.
Because you have very good cards in your deck but due to the limitation you will only be able to select selected monsters and those should also be according to the strategy.
If you select them blindly then first of all in low mana battles it is not an easy task at all. And when you select them against the strategy or against the ruleset then in this way your confusion and your chances of winning become even lower.
So for good selection in any battle it is necessary to understand this thing that first of all you should understand the rulesets properly and keep them in one corner of your mind and according to that select the monsters which best match that ruleset.
But sometimes it happens that rulesets do not come meaning you are given a free hand. So even in such a situation you have to make your monster selection according to the mana cost of the mana battle and the best positioning can make you win the battle.
Today's 18 mana battle which is considered a low mana battle was very interesting but because the mana cost was low it was also a little confusing. And the good thing is that two simple rulesets came where there was no need for too much strategy.
Let's know about the rulesets.
In this it happens that you will be allowed to summon one Void unit. The rest of the Void units that are in your deck will be disabled and you will not be allowed to select them.
So in this ruleset the strategy should be that from your Void units you should give more preference to the monster card which has good powers. Meaning it should be a low mana cost monster but its health and power should be very good which can give you a good start.
All units and Archons will lose the ability to restore health. Meaning none of your healers or Archons will restore health. Even if your monster has the Heal ability it will also become completely useless according to this ruleset.
So keeping this ruleset in mind it is necessary to adopt this strategy that instead of focusing on monsters with Heal you will focus more on monsters with protection or shield. In this you will give more preference to monsters that have abilities like Void Armor and Armor.
So keeping these two rulesets in mind what strategy did I plan?
So I set my strategy like this. I selected the Plus One Health ability for my Archon monster. Because of this all the monsters that I select will get an increase of Plus One Health at the start of the battle. Meaning a good health life will be given to all allied units.
Because the mana cost was low I only got the opportunity to select two monsters and my mana cap became full.
The first and frontline monster I selected was a strong tank monster which has three Armor and five Health and one Melee Power. And it is a Melee attacker so it was placed on the frontline.
The second monster I had the option of was a ranged attacker which does not have very good Health but it stays on the backside so it will survive in the battle for quite a long time and keep damaging enemy units from a distance.
Overall my strategy was a mix combination of aggressive and defensive so that I could remain strong in both positions.
When I saw my and the enemy units on the battlefield I felt quite relieved because this battle was going to be a winning one. And from here it became clear that both my strike and defense were much stronger than the enemy team.
The good thing is that as soon as the battle started from Round One to Round Four all units from both teams remained alive. Meaning even after four rounds had passed all units were still alive.
But in the fifth round due to continuous hits the enemy unit's frontline was destroyed which made it quite weak.
Now because the enemy team's strategy was that in the second position they had selected only a support monster with no attack power that was a plus point for me.
So at the end of Round Six the enemy team's second unit was also destroyed and in this way I got to see a one sided victory.
This is what happens in a battle when you understand the ruleset properly and after understanding it you make a proper strategy and plan then you get a victory like this.
And in today's battle I will call my favorite monster New Beluroc Aegis because due to its best defense system and continuous Melee attack power I got a good victory in this battle.
What would your strategy be in this type of ruleset and which monsters would you give preference to? will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
