Greetings from my side to all members of the Hive Ghana community, from what the name of the community suggests, I can say the community is made up of over 80 percent Ghanaian and I am a fraction of this percentage.
Ghana, a nation, is troubled with many challenges, which include
Unemployment
Poverty
Corruption
Lack of Infrastructure
High rate of inflation
Higher Export and import charges
Lack of well-defined child welfare practice sysytem
Rural urban migration
Higher cost of living for people living in the urban communities within Ghana
Deforestation and forest encroachment
Illitratracy and unaccessibility of quality education
And many others.
But, aside all these listed challenges facing Ghana and the people reciding in it, there are many many more thing that makes me love 鉂わ笍, cherish, and always be proud of my country which I will love to share with the community @Hiveghana.
I, as a proud citizen of Ghana馃嚞馃嚟 has always wanted the opportunity to tell the whole wide world what it is that makes me so! Proud, cherish, love, and also to defend my country despite our negatives and flaws as a country.
A cherished Ghanaian behavior.
The world has given Ghana some credits when it comes to how we cherish and adore peace. The most absolute pursuit of every gain citizen is to maintain peace within the country. This is a must acknowledged attitude of the majority of Ghanaians and Ghana as a whole. The peace around us is off more value than even what we eat, because we Ghanaians see it as a country without peace lacks in so many ways such as declination in production and development. The leaders of the country always ensure that the peace and harmony within the country are maintained.
Ghana, as a nation, is hospitable, Ghana welcomes whoever comes traveling into the country irrespective of the person's race. The country even allows foreigners to possess properties so easily (which country will show this kind of love??). I can strongly say it is only Mother Ghana.
This level of hospitality extends, that is, it passes onto the citizens even at a more advanced level. The majority of Ghanaians cares, too!! Much to an extent that they can easily sacrifice their food and room for strangers. They even welcome strangers more beautifully and lovely compared to the way they welcome some of their own neighbors and family. A Ghana man will first feed a stranger before his own family with the notion that, the stranger has traveled a long way from where ever he/she is coming from and no one has any idea of what he or she went through before reaching their home. What a lovely attitude towards strangers. The friendliness of Ghanaians at times superceeds their own interests.God bless Mother Ghana and citizens even more.
Another attitude of Ghanaians that I can not forgo is how supportive they are when it comes to building the community.
I resolutely believe that some will disagree with me on this point, but from my personal experience, I know Ghanaians are supportive when it comes to Communial labor.
For the community that I come from, when ever there is an activity or an exercise, to clean up our environment, repair a faulty road, build a school or health center for the community, the citizens of my community will come out in their number to support in what ever way they can to make the project a successful one.
Another thing that makes me love and cherish my nation more is the availability of numerous tourist sites scattered across all over the country. Almost every region within the country has a very beautiful and must visit tourist site. This makes spending some time in the country not boring at all. You get the chance to visit as many beautiful places as and when you like.
I couldn't just stick to only a reason for me loving and cherishing my country bacasues, I really want to make it known to the world how Lovely Ghana is.
