The CHICHARRAS are one of the loudest animals in the world and have a particular life cycle where the CHICHARRAS, as they are called in Venezuela, make a gallery and bury themselves in the ground, they pass there for up to 7 years depending on the species, once the specific time has passed, all the CICADRAS, which were born from a group, emerge from the ground and undergo metamorphosis, becoming adult insects, and the males go to a tree and proceed to make their call, which is one of the loudest in the world, comparable to the noise of a heavy rock concert, in its decibels.

Once the female is fertilized and lays her eggs, all the adults die and that way the adults do not compete with their offspring for resources.

In that video you can see how the CHICHARRA produces that sound, vibrating the abdomen so that the structures of its exoskeletons there rub together and produce that sound.

Las chicharras es uno de los animales mas ruidosos del mundo y tienen un ciclo de vida particular en donde las CHICHARRAS como es que se le dice en Venezuela, hacen una galería y se entierran en el suela, pasan allí hasta 7 años según la especie, una vez pasado el tiempo especifico, todas las CHICHARRAS, que nacieron de un grupo, emergen de la tierra y hacen la metamorfosis, convirtiéndose en insectos adulto, y los machos se van a un árbol y proceden a hacer su llamado, que es uno de los mas ruidosos del mundo, comparable al ruido de un concierto de rock pesado, en sus decibeles.

Una vez que la hembra es fecundada y pone sus huevos todos los adultos mueren y de esa forma los adultos no compiten con sus descendencia con los recursos.

En ese video se ve como es que la CHICHARRA, produce ese sonido, vibrando el abdomen para que las estructuras de su exoesqueletos allí se froten y produzcan ese sonido.
