so, let's try to clarify

the user alchemage@alchemage was the 1st one to provide the right answer (we can see that on the screenshot).

I said "he edited his comment which is not allowed according to the rules."
it's a mistake. Seems like he indeed "What I did do, however, is delete my original comment...".

We don't have Steemworld analog on Hive, so when I looked at @alexbiojs
I thought that he edited his comment.
Anyway, alchemage didn't change the answer (name of the molecule),
That's why I didn't ask him to return the bonus in my previous comment here.

he just deleted his comment / the image.

"... I misread the rules and saw that no evidence should be provided. "

it's ok, 'cause you're a new participant to this contest.

I mentioned in the rules "Don’t edit your comment..." which makes sense.

but I didn't mention "Don't delete or add new comments with the answers..."

Here's my suggestion,

guys, secondmedicalop@secondmedicalop and alchemage@alchemage,
keep the bonuses (alchemage, don't forget to provide your Neo-address to get TMN),
'cause it's rather my fault with incomplete rules (and inability to interpret hiveblockexplorer)
and as mentioned in the post
"This contest is the work in progress.
A lot can be changed in the future.
Any recommendations/suggestions are very welcome."

So, I guess that the cause of this situation is the rules, and I'll add also
"Don't delete or add new comments with the answers..." from now on.

Even if new users in the future edit/delete comments and we have situations like this one,
I'll most likely try to investigate the case and if they don't change the actual answer (the name of the molecule)
it will be ok, I'll try to compromise and reward both users/participants (like in this case) with bonuses,
'cause the main purpose on this league is to encourage people to investigate the world of molecules.

let's move on ;)
