One of the main tourist attractions of Abkhazia is the lake of glacial-tectonic origin Ritz. The lake and the surrounding area belong to the well-protected Ritsinsky reserve.
The lake is located high in the mountains, at the level of almost one kilometer above the sea, surrounded by amazingly beautiful forests. Thanks to its stunning landscapes, Lake Ritsa is a huge success with tourists; they come here en masse to admire the beauty of nature.
The road to the lake is no less picturesque, on the territory of the reserve there are many mountain lakes and waterfalls of various sizes, but Ritsa is certainly considered the most beautiful.
