The photo shows a view of the mountain range from
Balos Lagoon. It is quite inaccessible but very beautiful and very popular place on the island of Crete. The lagoon and sandy beach are located on a shoal on the west coast of
the Gramvousa Peninsula. Balos is one of the unique beaches of Crete with a stunning emerald color of the water.
