Hyperthermia (use of heat to kill the cancer cells)

Any idea whether the opposite - hypothermia, cold therapy - is ever used? Some Wim Hof fans have claimed his cold-immersion therapies have even cured cancer! Though there's many reasons why that could happen, including spontaneous remission.
