Hola amigos! Este mes de marzo ha sido muy productivo para mi y es que, comencé a dibujar muchas cosas nuevamente y me siento muy orgullosa de cada creación porque le he puesto mucho cariño a cada una de ellas, Love & Pain ha sido la primera pieza en vender en makersplace esta plataforma es donde hace mucho tiempo quería estar y lograr vender allí en el poco tiempo que llevo es un logro bastante significativo, esta obra en especifico busca transmitir diferentes etapas del amor, representadas a mi manera, amor, dolor, crecimiento. Espero continuar con este entusiasmo por el dibujo mucho tiempo, aunque a veces tengo algunas decaídas emocionales que hacen que no quiera hacer absolutamente nada, estoy intentando dejar eso a un lado para poder compartir siempre con ustedes una parte de mi, una parte de mi arte.

This month of March has been very productive for me and I started to draw many things again and I feel very proud of each creation because I have put a lot of love into each one of them, Love & Pain has been the first piece to sell in makersplace this platform is where I wanted to be for a long time and being able to sell there in the short time I've been there is a very significant achievement, this specific work seeks to convey different stages of love, represented in my own way, love, pain, growth.
I hope to continue with this enthusiasm for drawing for a long time, although sometimes I have some emotional downfalls that make me not want to do anything at all, I am trying to put that aside so that I can always share a part of myself with you, a part of my art.

La idea y el concepto de mi arte estaban claros desde el principio y aunque no soy muy buena pintando manos, quería que fuese asi y salió muy bien de hecho, las manos están empezando a ser menos problema para mi. Comencé haciendo un boceto bastante feo jajaja pero decidí pintar y modificar mientras pintaba, agregue los colores base que necesitaba en cada parte y los fui refinando en nuevas capas, dando mas detalles con pincel difuso y variando opacidad y tamaño, me ayude de otros pinceles para hacer otros detalles como por ejemplo las pecas que dibuje en su torso, es un pincel que básicamente tiene ese efecto, le agregue un poco de desenfoque para que estas pecas no luciesen tan “duras” evidentemente lo que mas tiempo me llevo en pintar fue las manos, tarde horas en eso pero estaban quedando bastante bien.

The idea and concept of my art was clear from the beginning and even though I'm not very good at painting hands, I wanted it to be that way and it turned out really well. In fact, hands are starting to be less of a problem for me.
I started by making a rather ugly sketch hahaha but I decided to paint and modify while I was painting, I added the base colors that I needed in each part and I refined them in new layers, giving more details with a diffuse brush and varying opacity and size, help me with other brushes to make other details such as the freckles that I drew on her torso, it's a brush that basically has that effect, I added a little blur so that these freckles didn't look so "hard" obviously what took me the longest to paint was the hands, it took hours on that but they were looking pretty good.

Por cierto, agregue un color de fondo que parece una especie de azul pastel desaturado, este color me gustaba mucho creí que se veía bien eso si, lo termine amando después de probar varios tonos. Empece a dibujar una especie de relieve en sus venas, para que diese el efecto de que las pequeñas ramas y flores salían dentro de ella, para lograr esto simplemente use tonos que ya había agregado anteriormente a su piel, busque el tono mas oscuro y el mas claro y comencé a pintar este efecto dándole mas oscuridad a los bordes y mas luz en el centro, dibuje las ramas y una rosa roja, pensaba pintar una rosa de un color mas pastel pero ya que hablamos de amor, nada mas representativo que una rosa roja.

By the way, I added a background color that looks like a kind of desaturated pastel blue, I liked this color a lot, I thought it looked good, yes, I ended up loving it after trying several shades.
I began to draw a kind of relief on her veins, so that it would give the effect that the small branches and flowers came out inside her, to achieve this simply use tones that she had previously added to her skin, look for the darkest tone and the lighter and I began to paint this effect giving more darkness to the edges and more light in the center, I drew the branches and a red rose, I was thinking of painting a rose in a more pastel color but since we are talking about love, nothing more representative than a Red rose.

Finalmente di últimos retoques y un detalle inesperado que no estaba en el boceto, pero que me encantaba como se veía, decidí dibujar un corazón, o al menos un hueco en forma de corazón, demostrando que está vacío, aquí quizás se interprete lo que el amor dejo en ella, o quizás que aun nadie ha rellenado ese vacío. Continue dando textura al dibujo y una apariencia desgastada y un ajuste de color un poco mas cálido.

Finally I gave final touches and an unexpected detail that was not in the sketch, but I loved how it looked, I decided to draw a heart, or at least a heart-shaped hole, showing that it is empty, here perhaps what the love left in her, or perhaps that no one has yet filled that void.
Continue to give the drawing texture and a weathered look and a slightly warmer color setting.
