Exploring areas of grass or other bush locations in the forest will be another exciting journey or challenge. Like this morning around 10 o'clock in western Indonesia time I hunted insects in a village located in North Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia.
This time I managed to capture two photos. Both are flying insects which are certainly so challenging to photograph. The two photos of insects that I mean include Scirpophaga innotata, a moth that belongs to the Crambidae tribe.
This white moth is a frightening pest for rice farmers, if the number of white moths is in large numbers the farmers immediately spray insecticides.
And then there is the wasp moth (Amata huebneri), a species of moth in the genus Amata of the family Erebidae. In terms of appearance, this moth is black with a yellow color combination coiled around its belly. In terms of size, this moth is also small, even almost the size of the moth Scirpophaga innotata above.
