This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge
Two days ago, my friends and I went hunting for insects in a forest in the hills of a remote village. Precisely, namely in the village of Plu Pakam, Tanah Luas, North Aceh.
On that occasion I managed to capture several photos of insect species, one of which I will share for today's #monomad challenge. The insect photos that I will share are caterpillars or butterfly larvae of Doleschallia bisaltide.
At first one of my friends showed me a caterpillar in a wild plant. It was no coincidence that the caterpillar was there because the caterpillar actually ate the fresh leaves of the plant.
Even though my friend told me the caterpillar was there, he didn't intend to take a picture of it. Maybe he was scared or amused. Finally I observed the movement of the caterpillar for a while and because it was relatively tame I ventured to take a picture of it. Here are some photos:
