This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by ewkaw@ewkaw

On this post I want to share two species of mushrooms as a form of my participation for the Friday 31 May 2024 edition of FungiFriday. The two mushrooms that I am sharing are mushrooms that I found in two different locations and times.

The first mushroom is a mushroom that I found growing in an oil palm plantation area. This mushroom is quite beautiful and interesting because it grows like a plant stem that has two branches. It has a white or slightly yellowish brown color, and the beautiful umbrella part of the mushroom is equipped with gills.

Then the second mushroom is Ganoderma which I found growing in the cocoa plantation area. And it is clearly visible in some of the photos that I have uploaded that this Ganoderma grows under cocoa trees or to be precise between fallen cocoa leaves. The attractive shape and beautiful pattern of Ganoderma are the main attraction and reason for me to photograph it. :)
