In this post I again want to share some beautiful wildflower photos. I got these photos when I and several other macrophotography-loving friends were hunting for insect photos in bushes and grass areas in rural areas.
As for wildflowers, I mean "Gletang", that is the popular name in Indonesia for the name of a plant with the scientific name Tridax procumbens.
These wild plants are sometimes considered as weeds if they grow in plantation areas and indeed these plants do not like muddy locations. This plant likes full sun. That's why he grows in open areas, it could be on the side of the road or dry rice fields.
And what is interesting is that butterflies and several other types of insects often perch on the flowers of this plant. Possibly in the flowers of this plant there is a lot of nectar which is a favorite of butterflies and other types of hoverfly insects.
