Hello Fascinating Insect Lover..
Today, to be exact, around 8 o'clock western Indonesian time. I found a Carpenter bee resting on a wildflower plant in a bush not far from my home.
Carpenter bee I mean is Xylocopa sonorina. And what I found was a male, this can be characterized by its color, which is golden brown and greenish eyeballs. While the female is black.
I really hope that next time I can find a female to complete my photo collection. Of course if I find it I will share it here. And below I have uploaded the photo, I hope you are interested and like it.
