Slow progress on sorting out the moth problem at my flat. I had to completely move out of the bedrooms and the place is a wreck. Nothing can be on the floor, including anyone needing to sleep, so I booked a hotel nearby.
The walk over to the Marriott was cold and damp, but I forgot all about that when I came across the Telsa Model 3 rendered in their proprietary "Red Multi-Coat." Like, wow! And I'm not even a Telsa fan.
The Leeds Marriott used to be the site of a clothing factory. All the art references the history of the work that was done here to creating apparel from the textiles made in Yorkshire.
I worked like laborer today, and like a bit of a workaholic, too. I went all day on just a cup of tea and a small banana. By the time I took a work break for food it was 8pm.
But this lovely little dish is a Caprese Salad with heritage tomatoes. See the dark vegetables in the middle of the plate. Those are blood red tomatoes. Absolutely delicious!
As for the flat, today's appointment for treatment was postponed because the pest controller's daughter went into labour. He's fully booked tomorrow, so we'll try again on Friday to solve the moth problem.
As for me, I look forward to a good night's rest in a bed in a tidy room with no insects...that I can see! 🕷️
For now, I'll sign off with my little 3 HIVE power up for 3 February. 💪🏽
Much love! 🥰
