¡Hola, familia! ¿Cómo están? Espero que estén súper bien y disfrutando de sus días. Hace poco andaba en la calle haciendo unas cuantas diligencias con mi mamá y, de verdad, el calor últimamente ha estado insoportable. Como estamos en plena época de vacaciones y días calurosos, a ambas nos dio ese antojo inevitable de algo frío y refrescante. Nosotras somos super fanáticas de los helados de mykonos, así que no lo pensamos dos veces y nos desviamos un momento para ir por nuestras barquillas.
En lo personal, no soy de recargar el helado con demasiado chocolate ni mil cosas encima, aunque últimamente me ha dado por experimentar y probar toppings nuevos. Como esta vez pedimos barquilla, que solo lleva sirope, mi mamá se fue por el sabor a pay de limón y yo elegí el de parchita, ¡que estaba divino! Igual, entre mis infaltables siempre están el de fresa-mora, la famosa capita mágica de chocolate y, cuando pido en tinita, me fascina combinar frutas como mango, fresa o kiwi con mi sirope favorito de toda la vida, el de dulce de leche.
En cuanto a los precios, me parece que están súper bien para la calidad que ofrecen: la barquilla más pequeña sale en $1,50, la más grande en $3, y los vasitos o tinitas van desde los $5 en adelante. Son helados a base de yogur griego, así que son sumamente ligeros, sabrosos y perfectos para bajar el calor del día. Si andan por ahí con antojo de algo dulce y refrescante, de verdad se los recomiendo con los ojos cerrados.
Hey family! How are you? I hope you're all doing great and enjoying your days. I was out running some errands with my mom recently, and honestly, the heat has been unbearable lately. Since it's the middle of vacation season and the days are so hot, we both had that inevitable craving for something cold and refreshing. We're huge fans of Mykonos ice cream, so we didn't think twice and made a quick detour to get some ice cream cones.
Personally, I don't usually overload my ice cream with too much chocolate or a ton of other things, although lately I've been experimenting and trying new toppings. Since we ordered a cone this time, which only has syrup, my mom went for the lemon pie flavor and I chose the passion fruit, which was divine! Likewise, my must-haves always include the strawberry-blackberry, the famous chocolate "magic layer," and when I order it in a tub, I love combining fruits like mango, strawberry, or kiwi with my all-time favorite syrup, dulce de leche.
As for the prices, I think they're great for the quality they offer: the smallest cone is $1.50, the largest is $3, and the cups or tubs start at Starting at $5, these Greek yogurt-based ice creams are incredibly light, delicious, and perfect for cooling down on a hot day. If you're craving something sweet and refreshing, I wholeheartedly recommend them.
