Hive Open Mic #124 | "Tokio", Los Mesoneros - Cover by @alejandrorigo
Recientemente se cumplieron 10 años del disco "Indeleble" de la banda de rock venezolana Los Mesoneros. Lo celebraron grabando todo el disco en un live session, al cual por cierto invitaron en un par de canciones al cantante venezolano Lasso...Y no es por que sea mi banda favorita pero eso quedo de lujo.
Todas esas canciones me dieron un gran flashback y me trajeron muy lindos recuerdos de aquellos tiempos...Por eso hice este cover de una de mis canciones favoritas de ese album, Tokio. Y cuya letra ademas me identifica mucho en esta epoca, sobretodo la frase "Yo solo quiero trazar un camino nuevo.."
Aquí se las comparto con mucho cariño, espero se la puedan tripear...Deseandoles un feliz inicio de semana. Abrazo virtual.
It was recently the 10th anniversary of the album "Indeleble" by the Venezuelan rock band Los Mesoneros. They celebrated by recording the entire album in a live session, to which, by the way, they invited the Venezuelan singer Lasso on a couple of songs... And it's not because it's my favorite band, but that's amazing.
All those songs gave me a great flashback and brought me very nice memories of those times... That's why I did this cover of one of my favorite songs from that album, Tokio. And whose lyrics also identify me a lot at this time, especially the phrase "I just want to trace a new path.."
