Este artículo, más que analizar el juego, la táctica del equipo o el desempeño de cada jugador, es más que nada un desahogo por fin ver con gran alegría como un deporte tan representativo para el venezolano es finalmente reconocido y es que para el venezolano que en más de 20 años siempre buscó de una manera u otra sentir una gran felicidad que le haga desconectar de la realidad, siempre está dispuesto a apoyar a uno o un grupo de deportistas esperando justamente esa luz de esperanza, esa gran necesidad de sentirse feliz, importante y que por fin el deporte que más a generado a representantes del país haya obtenido un título tan importante como es el ser campeón mundial, es sin ninguna duda otro evento que ha generado plena felicidad al venezolano en tan solo tres meses que tiene el año 2026.

Lo que sucedió hace menos de 48 horas, es tan importante que (por supuesto) contrarresta cualquiera decepción deportiva que ha experimentado el venezolano en años anteriores y es que la gran frustración deportiva en no finiquitar metas que como dije, puede hacer desconectar al venezolano de la difícil cotidianidad es duro y en este caso creo que lo sucedido con el béisbol venezolano en el CMB es mucho más porque cada uno de nosostros sabemos el potencial de los jugadores que hacen vida en el mejor torneo del mundo, "Las Grandes Ligas" (Major League Beisbol - MLB) y es por eso que cuando en esos cinco torneos anteriores no se realizaba el trabajo necesario, era mucho más frustrante porque se tenía siempre la noción de hacer más porque tiene el potencial para eso y en esta oportunidad, creo que el posible ambiente dubitativo del fanático venezolano, junto a las dificultades que enfrentó el staff de managers para conformar el equipo, hacían ver qué este pudiera ser otra participación decepcionante, pero parece que todo problema generó que las expectativas no fueran tan altas, lo cual les llevó a ser los "underdogs" y creo que eso favoreció enormemente al equipo porque quienes dudaron al final se vieron sorprendidos por el gran desempeño de todo el equipo.

Venezuela formó un grupo de jugadores jóvenes, con mucha hambre de verdadero reconocimiento, no solo es lo monetario, sino en hacer historia; creo que esa característica fue fundamental y que diferencia lo hecho en representaciones anteriores, a eso sumo la experiencia de otros que consiguieron ese reconocimiento por su desempeño en la MLB, ese reconocimiento individual que seguramente les hará inmortales no solo para él béisbol venezolano, sino para la historia del deporte; en ellos también estaba esa necesidad de ser parte de la historia, pero ahora en conjunto, en ser parte de un equipo ganador, y creo que su madurez y experiencia en el deporte, sin ego y con una necesidad de guiar, fue también una parte fundamental para impulsar al talento joven venezolano.

Como venezolano estoy orgulloso y feliz; este es un logro que merecía mi país, esto es algo que al venezolano le corresponde vivir porque genera no solamente felicidad, sino esperanza, genera una imagen positiva que va de lado con Venezuela, genera que haya (aún más) talento para este gran deporte y que esperemos que influya en otros para así nuevamente seguir experimentando ese positivos que tenemos desde el pasado martes, los jugadores, managers, el fanático, en fin, el venezolano necesitaba esta felicidad y el reconocimiento de que aquí se juega "El Mejor Béisbol del Mundo", tal así como estaba señalado en las franelas que usaban los campeones y es que este pais es de Béisbol porque así como sucede con Brasil o Argentina que en cada rincón nace un potencial estrella del fútbol, pues hermanos, en Venezuela no nace uno, sino miles de futuros beisbolistas, y así como ocurrió hace 80 años, en donde un título dio paso al crecimiento de ese deporte en mi país, pues espero que en esta oportunidad se genere más oportunidades para que nuevas generaciones sigan creyendo, representando y haciendo nuevamente a Venezuela campeón del mundo.
