Hello Liketu friends, today I want to tell you about one of my rescues 🤗 Alfilerito.
One day I was going with my sister @jcchelme to buy vegetables and I realized that in a corner there was a very badly injured and dehydrated kitten since the sun was killing it. The worst thing of all is that many people passed by and no one was worthy. to take it or protect it from the shadow.
I approached and his little eyes were asking for help so if or if I had to do something, it was difficult for me since a week ago I decided to let my elderly, bedridden dog go.
I took the little one home and vetted her. Those who saw him saw it as complicated, he didn't relieve himself, I had to help him pass urine and feces. So the vet said euthanasia was the best option.
We did x-rays and his spine was split in two, only one piece connected everything. After seeing about 7 veterinarians, I decided to try it, relying on all the advice. I managed to get through it, it was very difficult but I survived it was a long process where we taught them to walk, to relieve themselves, to trust humans and to live with other animals. Today Alfilerito is happy in my home, his tail does not move and one of his legs does not work at all from time to time but he has no impediment to leading a good and happy life.
The most gratifying thing is not having given up and not having chosen the first option of euthanasia, it was costly but it was achieved. That's why never forget to help, a simple gesture changes lives 🐾
Every day is a new opportunity to help, laugh, love, explore and create!
