Hay algo hermoso en dibujar gente del día a día, gente "real". Real para nosotros. Cuando dibujas a alguien habitual en tu vida, no solo dibujas sus gestos, dibujas también su timidez, su perplejidad, su seriedad o encanto. Es el caso de mis referencias. Con frecuencia me preguntan: si haces estos complejos dibujos con lineas en tan poco tiempo, por qué no hacer decenas de dibujos semanales. Es el caso de las referencias. A veces me veo obligada a imaginar personas. No siempre tenemos a alguien dispuesto a posar para nosotros, sin la vergüenza, con el tiempo, sin el prejuicio. Y aunque probablemente ustedes no conozcan este rostro, al que le llamaré Mujer anónima, yo si le conozco, y su rostro sencillo y su expresión un poco asustadiza me complace. Mil gracias a esta mujer anónima, y que lluevan más personas como ella dispuestas a regalarme su tiempo para plasmarlas en papel.
