Macro Photography Session | Metamorphic Rock

Hello everyone :)

As i have had the opportunity to mention previously in several of the articles describing these macro photography photo sessions in which the objects are rocks and ores, i have a special pleasure in observing these subjects as they present extremely interesting details.
Today i present a rock collected in a mountainous region, which presents characteristic details of the different geological processes that occur in these areas.
The geology of a region is influenced by a complex combination of tectonic, climatic and erosion factors.

This type of rock frequently undergoes tectonic, metamorphic and erosion processes associated with formation and exposure in mountain ranges.
In the place where this rock was collected, there are many caves and springs, and looking more closely, i would risk saying that it really came from deep down.
Another detail that made me very curious is that golden texture present on one of the sides.
Are you thinking the same thing as me? Could that be gold?
The mountain where i collected this rock is full of caves that resulted from long years of mining in the area and where a lot of gold was extracted.
The aim of collecting these objects was always to be the subject of these macro photography sessions, but if by mere chance, i discover that those particles are gold, i will have to seriously think about making these trips to the mountains a kind of routine :)

My introductory thoughts about macro photography:

It's amazing how macros with their blurred background can result in such different images full of contrasts and textures especially with this kind of subjects.
In the world of photography, especially macro photography, there is a universe of things available to everyone, enabling totally different and original approaches.

Among the various possible techniques to shoot macros, this is perhaps the most affordable and effective technique for those who have a camera with removable lens.
We can simply remove the lens and reverse the direction, and by using an inverter ring it ends up being more comfortable and facilitates the process.
