I often hear the expression that "pigeons are rats with wings." But I love watching pigeons. I like their color play of feathers in the neck area, their cooing and love games.
The most important thing is not to give them the opportunity to reproduce, not to let them eat uncontrollably and feed them.
Walking along the embankment, I saw a strange pigeon. His manner of moving seemed strange to me. He was limping on one leg. I took some photos, and then the pigeon flew away.
Looking at the photos on the computer monitor, I found out the reason for the pigeon's lameness - his foot was damaged.
The distance to the bird was about 20 meters. The bird was facing me from the right side, and the sore paw was on the left side, so I couldn't see it.
The pigeon kept some distance from the other birds. I have previously observed such a phenomenon that birds offend sick birds. Most likely, this is some kind of instinct to preserve the health of the bird tribe.
Do you see this, friends? It seems to me that someone chewed off a limb from a bird or something cut it off.
But how beautifully the fluff of this pigeon shines. The morning sun helps the bird to be beautiful.
