The Black Kite

The Black Kite. This is the largest bird of prey in our area. Usually I see this bird high in the sky, but recently I was lucky. Everything happened by accident. I stopped by car on the shore of a small pond to enjoy the view of this pond. And a wagtail appeared next to my car. I picked up the camera and began to photograph her. And suddenly, from somewhere behind my back, this kite flew out. He made a small circle over my head, then another, rising higher and making circles of ever larger size.

Коршун. Это самая крупная хищная птица в нашей местности. Обычно я вижу эту птицу высоко в небе, но недавно мне удалось поймать удачу за хвост. Всё произошло случайно. Я остановился на автомобиле на берегу небольшого пруда, чтобы насладиться видом этого водоема. И рядом с моей машиной появилась трясогузка. Я взял в руки фотоаппарат и стал её фотографировать. И вдруг откуда-то из-за моей спины вылетел этот коршун. Он сделал небольшой круг над моей головой, потом еще один, поднимаясь всё выше и делая круги всё большего размера.








I was on a dam that held back the water in the pond, the height difference is about 50 meters. And at some point, the kite, making a circle, turned out to be at the level of my eyes, but going out onto the dam, the air flow again helped the bird to rise up. An amazing bird. Beautiful. By the way, the tips of the wings of the kite are raised up. This makes me think of a Boeing-737-800 aircraft. This plane has the same way the tips of the wings look up.
Probably, this somehow affects the aerodynamics in flight.
The kite flew away... But I think I can still take a photo of this bird.

Я находился на дамбе, которая сдерживала воду в пруду, перепад по высоте примерно метров 50. И в какой-то момент коршун делая круг оказывался на уровне моих глаз, но выходя на дамбу воздушный поток снова помогал птице подняться вверх. Удивительная птица. Красивая. Кстати, кончики крыльев у коршуна подняты вверх. Это меня наводит на мысль о самолете Boeing-737-800. У этого самолета точно так же кончики крыльев смотрят вверх.
Вероятно, это как-то влияет на аэродинамику в полете.
Коршун улетел... Но я думаю, что я еще смогу сделать фото этой птицы.
