This is my application for the contest Shadow Hunters Community Contest - Round 222 by 
Exactly a year ago I was talking about the same day. June 3 is a special day for our region.
On this day, pilgrims from all over the country come to our city, and in other years there are pilgrims from other countries. They all want to test themselves in a hike to the Velikaya River. This is such a tradition among Orthodox Christians and there is a lot of information about this event on the Internet and even films have been made.
This morning I found myself at the railway station. The time on the clock was about 5 o'clock. A train from Moscow was due to arrive soon and a lot of people with backpacks, sleeping bags, tents should definitely arrive on it. All of them want to test themselves in a six-day hike. They will have to walk 90 km towards the Velikaya River, and then another way back 60 km. One day is reserved for the liturgy on the river.
I walked around the station and waited for the train to arrive. I was waiting for a man who came from Moscow to our office today.
The train arrived and people began to leave the station for the city. They are happy that they have reached our city.
I understand that people come here in small groups and many have known each other for a long time, because they go on this hike every year.
I will say that these people have already started on the road. They started at 10 o'clock. Today is the second day of the heat. Yesterday it was +27, and today it is +29. This is a very hot temperature for our region at this time. Usually the normal temperature is a maximum of +20 degrees. But the forecast shows rains every day! I've talked to such people and they say it's easier to walk in the rain, it's very hard to walk in the heat.
I wish these people an easy road. A lot of children, elderly people, people with physical disabilities and even in wheelchairs go on a hike. These people are preparing for such a campaign for a long time. They are waiting for such an event right after it ends!
