Autumn on the city pond

I'm not a wizard or a magician, I'm just learning to be one.

Wednesday is a day for walking.

The city pond in our city next to the circus is usually what the locals call this place. In the summer I often walked here in the morning, but with the onset of autumn I was here only a few times in the morning. This is due to bad weather. I started taking short morning walks not far from the office. But this morning I decided to check out the changes in this park.
What do I see? The birches are bare, they have thrown off all their foliage. And most importantly, there are practically no people running around the park. In the summer, you could meet a lot of young people in this place in the morning.

Городской пруд в нашем городе рядом с цирком - обычно так местные жители называют это место. Летом я часто гулял здесь утром, а вот с наступлением осени я здесь был всего несколько раз в утренние часы. Это связано из-за плохой погоды. Утренние короткие прогулки я стал совершать недалеко от офиса. Но сегодня утром я решил проверить изменения в этом парке.
Что же я вижу? Березы стоят голые, они скинули всю свою листву. И самое главное - практически нет людей, бегающих по парку. Летом можно было встретить много молодых людей в этом месте в утренние часы.


A dense carpet of fallen leaves lies almost over the entire area of the park. In open places, of course, there is no foliage, but among the trees the soil is not visible at all.

Плотные ковер из опавших листьев лежит практически по всей площади парка. На открытых местах, конечно, листвы нет, но среди деревьев почву совсем не видно.





Maybe some of my readers remember my reasoning in the spring that there are very few ducks on the pond. But in the autumn their number increases dramatically. They begin to go out on the banks and accompany passers-by. They ask for food for themselves.

Может кто-то из моих читателей помнит мои рассуждения весной, что на пруду очень мало уток. Так вот осенью их количество резко возрастает. Они начинают выходить на берега и сопровождать прохожих. Они просят для себя еду.











I made one circle around the pond. This is about 1 kilometer, which I spend about 10 minutes on. In summer, there are many fishermen on the shore of the lower pond, and today I did not see a single person with a fishing rod next to the pond.

Я совершил один круг вокруг пруда. Это примерно 1 километр, на который я затрачиваю около 10 минут. Летом на берегу нижнего пруда бывает много рыбаков, а сегодня я не увидел ни одного человека с удочкой рядом с прудом.





In winter, this is a favorite place for kids in this park. They ride downhill on all sorts of devices. But I haven't seen a single person on skis.. Sometimes they even go out on the ice. Kids can have a lot of fun here. You can meet many young mothers with their children.

Зимой это любимое место у детворы в этом парке. Они здесь катаются с горки. Иногда они даже выезжают на лёд. Здесь бывает очень весело. Можно встретить много молодых мам со своими детьми.

That's the end of my walk today. It's time for me to go to my car and go to the office.

Вот и закончилась моя сегодняшняя прогулка. Мне пора идти к своему автомобилю и ехать в офис.
