A must see during your stay in Japan. Kinkaku-ji is by far one of the most amazing things to do in Kyoto. To contemplate the majesty of this golden structure reflecting on the lake is rather relaxing. There are many views you can look at it and each of them are just stunning. Definitely a unique magical place.
