Spectacular sunset in one of the many incredible places that you find in the southern island of New Zealand.
Akaroa was my first stop after landing in Christchurch. It's only under two hours drive but you will wish it was longer since the views are amazing. I actually made it in 4 hours since I took a massive detour to explore the area. If you are a experienced driver and have no fear for small and mildly dangerous roads let me know and I can give you more info.
No matter which way you take, I think Akaroa should be a stop on your New Zealand trip.
