Ode to the Owl
A Sonnet
by albert-camus
My mighty owl, you inspire me to write.
How I love the way you hoot, look and bark,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the heavy shark.
Let me compare you to a silly drill?
You are more playful, random and superb.
Moot rains flood the brightfields of April,
And the springtime has the especial kerb.
How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your sound eyelashes, style and eyes.
Thinking of your special style fills my days.
My love for you is the amusing fries.
Now I must away with an astute heart,
Remember my right words whilst we're apart.
