It is not like that with God. With him, it is very simple - as it is written in Hebrews 10:22: "Let us draw near ..." We exclusively to our Lord Jesus Christ under this free access. The key for him is faith: "... let us draw near in the full assurance of faith." Without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb 11.6). Without faith, we obstruct the way to Him. Without faith, we do not perceive free access. Only the vision of faith leads us safely to Him. Approaching Him is at the same time a step of faith. Hebrews 4:16 exhorts us in a very concrete way: "Let us approach, therefore, trustingly to the throne of grace, to obtain mercy and find grace for the opportune help."
A big problem among us Christians is passivity and indifference. If we do not take concrete steps of faith towards him, God will not act. Without consciously seeking his presence, we will not receive help.
One of the most impressive encounters with Jesus is certainly related in the story of the woman healed of the hemorrhage. She was incurably sick. No doubt, she had spent many hours in the waiting rooms of doctors during her life - to no avail. It is written that she had spent all her salaries with medical consultations and that no one had been able to cure her - until she had contact with Jesus. In Luke 8:44 it is written so simply: "He came up from behind and touched the hem of clothes ..." The step of faith this sick woman led to her complete healing.
With that I do not want to imply that a physical or practical solution of our problems always has to happen. By the way, however, the Lord frees us from the problem. It may be that the problem itself still exists-but it is not about your problem, it's about the problem of Him. He will help you, He can cure you. Maybe His interference does not happen as you imagined, but it will surely be useful for eternity, healing the soul and the spirit!
This free access is always available. We are going to take steps of faith and open the door - and be impressed with the glory of his grace. He, the Almighty, did everything for us - it is enough for us to manifest!
