So my first introduction was lacking in a lot of information.
I am an Alaskan guy. One that enjoys hunting fishing and generally being outside. I currently work for the state of Alaska, on a schedule that allows me to enjoy my off time.
I am an army veteran that served 12 years active duty, I was military police. I have been over seas several times. I am 37 years old been married for just short of 17 years. And have 3 children.
I have a goal of being totally self sustaining which is vary challenging where we live. Long cold winters with little sun. We currently have 2 goats a few turkeys some chickens and ducks. Whitch we use for eggs and meat. We heat our house with wood which we cut our selves. And we grow as much of our food as we can. I smoke and can salmon every fall.
As for hobbies I love the shooting sports and competitions. I am a gunsmith and enjoy reloading, have over 12 years in both more around 15 for reloading. I reload for both rifle and pistol to help reduce the cost of my habit. I also make soaps and other personal care items which we started selling when people started requesting them.
My goal on steemit is to pass all my knowledge on to who ever can use it. I am also interested in learning how other people do things. And using your ideas here in Alaska. At least trying them.
