Rustic London
Hey friends, today I bring you a practice in which I have tried to try another type of stroke in the painting in order to leave a more rustic finish, since my idea was to make a slightly vintage portrait taking advantage of the elegance of the girl with that coat, I wanted to make like a London environment that they show us in old movies, the result has not been very good but I had a lot of fun drawing strokes and thinking about the best way to represent what I wanted, then I give a brief explanation of the steps of this practice.
Hey amigos, el dia de hoy les traigo una practica en la que he tratado de probar otro tipo de trazo en la pintura con el fin de dejar un acabado mas rustico, ya que mi idea era hacer un retrato un poco vintage aprovechando la elegancia de la chica con ese abrigo, quise hacer como un ambiente del londres que nos muestran en las peliculas antiguas, el resultado no ha quedado muy bien pero me he divertido mucho tirando trazos y pensando en la mejor forma de representar lo que queria, a continuacion les doy una ligera explicacion de los pasos de esta practica.

Pencil sketch ✏️ Boceto a lápiz
For the sketch, as always, I have made some general strokes to fit the pose of the entire portrait and then I only cleaned up the lines a bit since I did not want to leave anything refined as it would be done in a lineart.
Para el boceto como siempre he hecho unos trazos generales para encajar la pose de todo el retrato y despues solo fui limpiando un poco las lineas ya que no queria dejar nada refinado como se haria en un lineart.
Grayscale ✒️ Escala de Grises
For the values I started by filling in the portrait with different grays in the different areas and then working specifically on each one of them, this time I did not want to blur much except for the face since I wanted the painting to show the quite rustic lines.
Para los valores empece rellenando el retrato con diferentes grises en las diferentes zonas para despues ir trabajando especificamente en cada una de ellas, esta vez no he querido difuminar mucho a excepcion de la cara ya que queria que al final a la pintura se le vieran los trazos bastante rusticos.
Color
For the color this time I have not used the gradient map, instead I have painted directly on the gray scale with the brush in color mode and thus I was painting the entire portrait, on that same layer but changing the brush mode I was adding different details to get closer to what I wanted to express.
Para el color esta vez no he usado el mapa de degradado en cambio he pintado directamente sobre la escala de grises con el pincel en modo color y asi fui pintando todo el retrato, en esa misma capa pero cambiando el modo del pincel fui agregando diferentes detalles para ir acercandome a lo que queria expresar.

To finish this drawing I wanted to make a background that gave off a feeling of old age, dirt and a gloomy aspect since that is what I wanted to convey, I also added some kind of spots to try to simulate some snow and lower the saturation of the whole set and that was all for this practice, I hope you liked it and see you next time, bye bye
Para finalizar este dibujo quise hacer un fondo que emitiera una sensacion de vejez, suciedad y aspecto sombrio ya que eso es lo que queria transmitir, tambien fui añadiendo una especie de manchas para tratar de simular algo de nieva y baje la saturacion de todo el conjunto y eso fue todo por esta practica, espero que les haya gustado y nos vemos la proxima, chauuuuuuuu
