Today is day 17 reflecting upon the visual elements of texture, one of my favourite things to take photos off.
I find that succulents tend to apply to many visual themes/elements. I love them as plants to take care off and their fullness.
The flowers, of more so their texture was difficult to capture as I could not zoom in much more with my camera; i wanted to showcase their transparency. I tried to capture a cluster of the plant to give a sense of repetition of the dainty/fine plant.
I tried to capture the rough and depleted texture of thins plant. i think that by showing it on level perspective i was able to emphasise on the shape of the plant..
So the point of this post, and the collective challenge, is to take at least one picture a day based on a visual theme, as a way to learn photography. Each day's theme is as follows;
Monday - Repetition
Tuesday - Scale/size
Wednesday - Texture
Thursday - Colour, contrast
Friday - Colour, harmony
Saturday -funday !
Sunday - Line/direction
I think I should make it a goal to improve my written content! any tips?
Have a swell day!
