Assalam-o-Alaikum! I hope everyone in the family is doing well and staying busy with their daily routines.

Sometimes life brings days where you get so caught up in household chores and business matters that the whole day just flies by before you even realize it. For the past couple of days, we have been running around getting some medical tests done for the family.
On Friday evening, we went to Gilani Sahib to get an ultrasound done.

After checking, they asked if we needed any specific medicines. However, they recommended that it is always better to continue getting medicines from the exact doctor who has been treating the patient from the start.
The next day, around 12:30 PM, we reached Arib Hospital. But a small issue popped upβ€”Arib Hospital requires the previous medical reports to compare and generate the new ones. Unfortunately, we had left the previous reports back at home! Since the medicines also had to be collected, I told my family to wait at the hospital while I rushed back home to grab the old file.

These little slip-ups can really mess up the schedule and make it tough to wrap up tasks on time.
After finishing up at the hospital, I remembered that my track-suit manufacturing unit is located quite close by. I decided to drop by for a quick visit.
Because business had been a bit slow for the past two to two-and-a-half months and I had other commitments, my visits to the unit had become less frequent, and my brother usually manages things over there. But when I checked the status yesterday and reviewed the updates, Alhamdulillah, I saw a huge amount of work lined up. Conditions are getting much better now. Business always has its ups and downs, but thank God, the unit has picked up great momentum again.
Once I was done at the unit, I came straight back to the shop. And the very first thing I did was put on the live match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, a game we had all been waiting for with bated breath!

It turned out to be an absolute thriller. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. Maashallah, their opening pair gave them a very solid start. Avishka scored 38 runs before getting out, and Sri Lanka's first wicket fell in the 18th over. Kusal Mendis got out after scoring 8 runs, but after that, Kamindu Mendis and Rathnayake continued a brilliant partnership. Kamindu completed his century, while Rathnayake proved to be an exceptional find for Sri Lankaβ€”in just 14 matches so far, he has already accumulated around 250 runs and 3 centuries at an impressive average of 63.

Kamindu was eventually dismissed for 131 runs by Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Shanaka followed after scoring 17.

Rathnayake played a fantastic knock of 77 runs before getting out as well. Eventually, Sri Lanka posted a competitive total of 326 runs in their 50 overs, which is a fighting score in a One-Day International.

Chasing the target, Pakistan sent out Fakhar Zaman and Maaz Taimoor to open the innings. Unfortunately, Maaz Taimoor got out for just 5 runs in the second over, and Babar Azam followed him back to the pavilion for a duck in the fourth over.

Pakistan's batting line-up looked a bit shaky for a while, but Fakhar Zaman and Saad Baig put up a phenomenal partnership.

Sadly, in the 27th over, Saad Baig was dismissed after scoring 74 runs.

Soon after, Fakhar Zaman reached a magnificent century and offered Sajda (prostration of gratitude) on the field.

He played a heroic innings before getting out in the 34th over after scoring 127 runs. Salman Ali Agha also chipped in with 17 runs before getting out.

Pakistan found themselves in a very tight spot, but Arafat Minhas played a sensational, gritty innings.

He was well on his way to a brilliant fifty, but unfortunately, with just 6 runs short of the milestone, he got an edge and was caught out after scoring 44 runs. Faheem Ashraf departed for a duck. In the end, the winning shot was hit in styleβ€”a massive six by Shaheen Shah Afridi!

With this thrilling victory, Pakistan successfully claimed the tri-nation series played between Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and England!
