Assalamu Alaikum!

Shafiq is a very dear brother and a wonderful friend. He is just like a brother to me

Yesterday, he came to visit me and asked, “Brother, do you know anyone named Bismillah around here?” I told him that I didn't, but we could ask someone and find out. I then asked him if everything was alright and what the matter was, as he seemed quite worried.

He told me that he had been looking for a mobile phone on OLX and found one being sold at a very good price.

He contacted the seller, who initially gave him an address and asked him to come there. Later, the seller said that he was not at the shop and asked Shafiq to meet him outside.

When Shafiq insisted on seeing the shop, the seller did not show him the shop but instead asked him to make an online payment.

The problem was that it was already nighttime, and Shafiq did not have much experience buying mobile phones. As a result, he could not properly check the phone or test its features and codes.

Nowadays, we are also facing many internet and banking issues in Pakistan. When Shafiq tried to send the payment, the seller told him that the first transaction had not gone through. So, Shafiq sent the payment again.

The amount was Rs. 110,000, but unfortunately, the payment was sent twice.

When Shafiq returned home and checked his account, he realized that both transactions had been completed. He called the seller, who told him, “Brother, we will check it in the morning. We have received a message for only one payment.”

However, the transaction statement clearly showed that both payments had been sent successfully.

After that, Shafiq transferred his data to the new phone. Later, when he tried to send a voice message on WhatsApp, his voice was not being recorded or transmitted.

This was a major problem for him because he needs to stay online on WhatsApp throughout the day, as most of his work is done online.

Even though I am also a mobile shopkeeper, I could not understand the exact issue with the phone. It could have been a problem with the board or the software.

These days, unfortunately, such fraud cases have become very common, and people are finding different ways to deceive others.

Yesterday, I was also suffering from a fever, but Alhamdulillah, I am feeling much better now.

I got some medicine from Abbas Bhai, who kindly prepared two doses for me. I took one dose in the evening, and Alhamdulillah, I felt much better.

InshaAllah, I will take the second dose as well, and hopefully, I will recover completely.

May Allah Almighty reward Abbas Bhai with the best of rewards for his kindness. Ameen.
