Here are some macro shots that I will share with the Photography Lovers Community.
I was able to photograph a female heavy jumping spider, also known as the Hyllus spider, at this precise moment when it was lunch.
The spider was initially hesitant to show its jaws, and there appeared to be something there.
She then started to move slowly, and her jaws began to exhibit something.
Aw, damn! Apparently, she was having lunch with a delicious menu of butterfly larva.
That might make you gag, but the spider obviously views it as a tasty sausage.
I was astounded by her because she had already eaten a third of the "sausage" in less than a minute. It's not hard for her to ingest it quickly because of its chewy and soft texture.
